The Inner conductor is made from plain, tinned or Silver plated Copper Single wire Solid or Standard, the very thin inner conductors are made of copper coated steel wire to provide High Tensile Strength.The primary dielectric is polythene. PTFE is used ifRF-Coaxial to be used in high temperature applications.
Wire braid, over the primary insulation, the braid is designed so, as to provide optimal screening,
double screening braid is used for sensitive transmission. For more accurate signals, it is
equally necessary for the inner and outer conductor wires to be of silver plated copper.
The outer sheathing are available in wide varities for specific application either special PVC
compound or Polyethylene or in PTFE.
